Questions contractors ask most

If your question is specific to your vertical, the industry page for your trade covers qualification criteria and typical project types in more detail.

What is a qualified home-service lead?

A qualified home-service lead is a homeowner or property owner who has submitted a project request that matches your service category and territory, and who has supplied the contact and project information required under OneVia's current qualification standards. It is a real project inquiry, not a purchased name from a list.

What is a qualified appointment?

A qualified appointment is an eligible opportunity that has moved past lead delivery: OneVia follows up with the homeowner and schedules an estimate on your calendar under the appointment program selected for your market. Scheduling an appointment does not guarantee the homeowner will buy.

How are OneVia Leads opportunities generated?

Opportunities come from OneVia's own marketing campaigns aimed at homeowners actively researching or requesting estimates for a specific project type in a specific area. They are not scraped, resold list data or recycled aged records.

Are leads shared with other contractors?

Delivery and any territory or sharing terms are defined by the program you select for your market and by your Order and the Terms of Service. Confirm the exact delivery terms for your market when you check availability, rather than assuming a sitewide rule.

How are homeowners verified?

Before delivery, opportunities are checked against OneVia's current qualification standards, which include contact information checks, the relevance of the stated project, and whether the property falls inside the territory you selected.

Can I select my service territory?

Yes. You choose the service area you want to receive opportunities in when you check availability. Territories are limited per market, so a specific area can be open, limited or already full.

Which home-service industries does OneVia support?

OneVia serves residential and light-commercial trades including concrete, epoxy flooring, roofing, hardscape and outdoor living, landscaping, pools, foundation repair, waterproofing, windows, bath remodeling, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, asphalt paving, fencing, EV charger installation, solar, and residential and commercial cleaning. Availability differs by market.

How much do contractor leads cost?

Pricing depends on the industry, the market and the package size you select, and Qualified Appointments are priced above Qualified Leads because of the additional follow-up and scheduling work. Current pricing for your vertical and market is shown when you check lead availability.

Is there a long-term contract?

OneVia is built around opportunity packages rather than long-term retainers. The exact commitment, renewal and payment terms that apply to you are the ones stated in your Order and the Terms of Service.

How quickly should I contact a new lead?

Contact new opportunities as fast as your operation allows — ideally within minutes, not hours. Homeowners requesting estimates usually contact several contractors, and the first business to reach them typically controls the conversation.

Does OneVia guarantee that the homeowner will purchase?

No. OneVia delivers qualified opportunities and, in appointment programs, schedules the estimate. Whether a project sells depends on your pricing, your sales process, scope, timing and the homeowner's decision, so no purchase, revenue or job outcome is guaranteed.

What happens if a lead contains invalid information?

Opportunities with invalid or unreachable contact information, duplicates, or contacts outside your selected territory can be submitted for credit review under the Lead & Appointment Credit Policy, within the review window described in that policy.

How do lead and appointment credits work?

You submit the opportunity for review with the required detail, OneVia reviews it against the criteria published in the Lead & Appointment Credit Policy, and approved requests are credited back to your account balance. The policy governs eligibility, timing and how credits are applied.

Can OneVia book estimates directly onto my calendar?

Yes, in markets where the Qualified Appointments program is available. OneVia handles follow-up and scheduling into your calendar; you still confirm, prepare for and run the estimate.

How do I check availability in my market?

Use Check Lead Availability, select your service, territory, delivery type and package size, and submit your contact details. You will see current availability for that market and OneVia will follow up to confirm the details before anything is activated.
